Our Client, a tissue manufacturing company is looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help them meet our client's customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping the organization competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management and above all, build the Tissue business countrywide.
Responsibilities
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensure its strong presence
- Own recruiting, objectives and goal setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
- Develop individual quotas and assign territories for team members
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
- Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members
- Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
- Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed
Requirements
- Degree in marketing, Business Administration or related course
- Must have at least 10 years' experience in a senior role
- Must be conversant with the tissue/Paper manufacturing industry.
- Must have excellent relationship with the relevant decision makers in the trade.
- A clear demonstration of effectively managing a sales team is mandatory.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas
- Excellent leadership skills
- Experience setting sales goals
- Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Deep understanding of CRM systems and best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
