Job Description
You will:
- Provide a point of contact for Finance for all operations, sales reporting, understanding variances, and forecasting/budgeting, driving financial accountability in the modules and working to improve the interface between various departments.
- Review & develops business procedures that ensure the integrity of reporting (Internal Control responsibility)
- Be in charge of Cash flow management & Short-term funding requirements
- Handle Profitability & Margin management, Product Costings, Capital expenditure planning & review, Inventory Management, Debtors Management, Costing Management, and Business Unit Cash Management:
- Provide monthly commentary/variance analysis to budget and forecast, identifying opportunities for improvement in the process.
- Be a trusted finance business partner across multiple departments.
- Manage Month-end reporting & closing, Tax, VAT & other Statutory requirements and Fixed Asset Management
The Successful Applicant
Required:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field of study
- Master's degree, ACCA, CPA, and/or CMA preferred
- A minimum of 7 years of accounting/finance experience
- Previous experience in Manufacturing/Production and Supply is highly preferred
- Strong experience of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
- Business partnering experience required
- Experience preparing company budgets
- Experience with multi-site, complex environments
- Ability to generate and communicate ad hoc financial analysis
- Understanding of key accounting, financial analysis, benchmarking and variance analysis in the manufacturing environment and general working knowledge of Supply Chain processes
- Proficient in SAP (or other ERP systems), Data warehouse, Microsoft Office Suite environments
