Our client, a startup manufacturing steel wool and paper cups is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their team. The role will help our client meet their customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping their company competitive and innovative.
Roles
- Developing sales strategies- create and implement sales plans to meet revenue targets.
- Building and managing sales team-Recruit, Train and manage the sales team.
- Customer relationship Management- build and maintain relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting- analyze sales data to forecast future sales trends, track performance against targets and reporting to upper management.
- Budgeting and Pricing- develop pricing strategies based on production costs, demand and competitive analysis while managing budgets effectively.
- Marketing support - collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Negotiating and Closing deals- lead negotiations with clients, close deals and ensure contracts are finalized in accordance with company policies.
Requirements
- Degree in sales and marketing, business administration or related course.
- 5 - 7 years working experience in a similar role.
- Manufacturing industry highly preferred. Experience handling similar products will be a plus.
- strong understanding of sales principles, techniques and strategies.
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in negotiation techniques to secure deals and agreements beneficial to the company.
- Dedication to understanding customer needs and providing solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
- In-depth knowledge of the paper cups industry including market trends, competitors and potential customers.
- Analytical Skills-ability to analyze sales data, market trends and other relevant information.
- Problem Solving- capacity to identify challenges and find creative solutions for them.
- Effective time management skills.
- Proficiency in using sales management software are basic computer programs.
- Ability to handle rejection, set-backs and challenges.
